Das war bei unserem gestrigen Flug "Convoi Strike" bei der 31st ein Thema. Viper kam mit deutlich mehr Luft als Sprit in der Tanker Area an, nur die Tankstelle hatte ihre Sprechanlage nicht angestellt und so half alles Betteln nichts.
Der verspätete Hinweis von Rabbit brachte es leider auch nicht mehr und AWACS nannte immer wieder TCN 92Y. Im Linup hätte es auch gestanden. :idee:
Hier die Erklärung, warum Viper den letzten Weg mit einem Seidentuch fliegen mußte.
You request tanker on the radio and if you're further away than 10nm the AWACS will give you the tankers TACAN channel, bearing and distance. You plot the tankers TACAN channel (92Y) and subtract 63 which is (92Y - 63 = 29Y) to lock up the tanker and start approaching it. Once within 10nm you call him up again to request fuel and he'll clear you to pre-contact.
